Mondal Brick Field

Our brick field is located over in Khidirpur, near the Fancy Market area on Dent Mission Road. If you know that part of the city, you know how crowded and hectic it can get. There are always people moving, trucks unloading, and the general noise of the market nearby. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting the raw materials in and the finished bricks out through those streets, but we have managed it for a long time. The field itself is where all the real work happens. It’s muddy and messy, especially when it rains, but that’s the nature of the business. We have a small office nearby, but it is mostly used for storing records and taking a quick tea break. The guys working the field have been with us for years. We aren't a big company with a lot of layers. If there is a problem, we just talk it out right there on the spot. It’s a very old-school way of running things. We don't have any fancy brochures or a website that looks like a magazine. We just have the bricks and the people who know how to make them. People in Khidirpur know where to find us if they are building something new or fixing up an old wall. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the demand in a very busy neighborhood.
