Prakriti Bricks Pvt. Ltd. is located right on No-39, Vivekananda Road. If you know the area, it’s easy to find us because of all the stacks of bricks lined up near the gate. We have been here for a while now. The yard is usually quite noisy with the machines running, but that's how we get things done. My brother and I started this because we saw a lot of building going on around here and figured someone needed to supply the materials locally. We employ about ten people from the local area. They work hard, even when it gets really hot in the afternoons and the sun is beating down on the yard. We use a mix of materials to make sure the bricks come out solid. Sometimes we have issues with the electricity cutting out, which stops the whole line, but we usually just take a break and wait for it to come back on. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady one that people can count on. Most of our customers are just people building small homes or fixing their fences. We talk to them, figure out how many bricks they need, and try to get them loaded up as fast as we can. It’s not a glamorous job and our clothes are always covered in red dust by the end of the day. But we like being on Vivekananda Road and being part of the local trade here.
