Our business, United Decorators Of India & Universal Caterer, is located at 14/16, Dr Deodhar Rahman Road. We are right near the 3 No Gate Lable Crossing, so we see the trains go by all the time. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise, but it suits us. We do two things here: we handle decorations and we also do the catering. It’s a lot to keep track of, especially when we have several events on the same weekend. We store our tents, chairs, and lights in one area and keep the kitchen in another. It’s a practical setup that has worked for us for a long time. We don't use any slick advertising or fancy logos. People usually find us because they live in the neighborhood or they’ve seen our work at a local function. The heat from the kitchen and the physical work of setting up stages can be tiring, but it's what we do. We are just a group of workers who know how to put together a decent event. We deal with all sorts of people and different kinds of requests every week. Sometimes things go perfectly, and sometimes we have to fix a light or a stove on the fly. That’s just the nature of the job. We stay focused on the work at 14/16 Dr Deodhar Rahman Road and try to get everything finished on time. We just keep at it day after day.
