Union Bottle Stores

Our shop is located at number 18 on Ezra Street, which is usually quite crowded during the day. We are pretty close to Poddar Court, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and people moving boxes around. Union Bottle Stores has been here for a long time, dealing with all sorts of glass bottles and jars for different uses. We spend most of our time sorting through crates and making sure everything is clean and ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with rickshaws that it takes a while for our deliveries to get to the door. It is a bit of a maze inside with stacks of glass reaching up toward the ceiling. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If someone comes in looking for a specific size of bottle, we usually know exactly which pile to look in. The light doesn't get into the back of the store very well, so we use a lot of lamps. It’s a noisy part of town, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and helping the people who walk in off the street. It’s a simple business, really, just buying and selling bottles to the local shops and makers who need them. Most people know us by name because we’ve been on Ezra Street for years.
