Trailblazers F&B Llp is located up on the third floor of Sai Nath Apartment on Khudiram Bose Sarani. If the elevator isn’t working, which happens more often than we’d like, it’s a long walk up those stairs, especially when we are carrying supplies. Our office isn't much to look at, just a few desks, some old chairs, and piles of papers that we really should organize better. Kolkata is a busy city, and being in the 700037 area means we are right in the middle of all the noise and heat. We mostly spend our time coordinating different food and beverage projects, which sounds a lot more organized than it actually feels most days. There is always someone shouting from the street or a bird getting stuck in the balcony area. We started this because we wanted to do something of our own, even if it meant working out of a residential apartment building. It’s not a shiny corporate setup with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We drink way too much coffee and spend half the afternoon trying to figure out why the internet is slow again. It’s honest work, though. We are just a small group of people trying to make a living in F&B without making things too complicated. We just focus on the tasks right in front of us and try to get home before the evening traffic gets really bad.
