If you head up to the 7th floor of Om Tower on Chowrighee Road, you’ll find Tlpl Logistics Pvt Ltd in rooms 709 and 712. We have been working out of this space in Midleton Row for a while now. It’s a busy building with a lot of other offices, but we like the view from up here. We spend our days dealing with logistics, which mostly means we are staring at screens and talking to drivers on the radio. It isn't a very quiet office, as there is always someone discussing a delivery route or checking on a shipment. We have got two rooms because things got a bit cramped in just one, so now we have a bit more space to breathe. The elevators in Om Tower can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, which is always a bit annoying when you're in a hurry. We don't have any polished corporate brochures or big mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting freight from point A to point B without any major disasters. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the paperwork matches the boxes. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, but that's just how the logistics business goes. We’re just a regular team doing our best to keep things on schedule in a busy city like this. We handle the daily stress together and just keep the shipments moving.
