Apeejay Shipping Ltd. has its office at No. 15 Apeejay House on Park Street. Park Street is one of those iconic places where there’s always something happening, but inside Apeejay House, things are a bit more focused. We’ve been involved in the shipping business for a long time, and this office is where all the logistics and planning happen. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and our space is filled with maps, shipping schedules, and stacks of paperwork that come with moving cargo across the oceans. We aren't out on the docks every day; most of our work is done at these desks, tracking ships and talking to port authorities. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure everything is in the right place at the right time. The atmosphere is professional but not stiff. We’ve worked together for years, so we know each other's habits and how the day usually goes. We don’t have a bunch of slogans on the walls. We just focus on the task of managing a fleet and handling the complexities of international trade. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook when there’s a delay at a port, but that’s just the nature of the industry. We stay until the work is done. It’s a busy life, being right in the heart of the city, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep the ships moving.
