You can find Tkm Transport Management Services Pvt Ltd in the Poonam Building on Russel Street. We are on the second floor, unit 5/2. The Midleton Row area is a good spot for us. We’ve been here for several years, focusing on managing transport for different clients. It’s a lot of scheduling and making sure drivers and trucks are where they’re supposed to be. Some days it feels like a big jigsaw puzzle where the pieces keep moving. We use our computers a lot, obviously, but a lot of the work still happens over the phone. It’s about building relationships with the people who actually move the goods. We aren’t a huge operation, so we all have to know a bit of everything. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and chairs and a few cupboards for the files. We don’t see the point in spending much on things that don’t help move the cargo. Sometimes the traffic on Russel Street makes it hard to get in and out, but that’s just part of being in this area. We try to keep our heads down and stay on top of the daily tasks. It’s not always exciting, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep our systems running and handle whatever problems come through the door.
