Grand Pavers & Bricks

We’re out at No. 217 Tiljala Road. It’s more of a yard than an actual office, really. We’ve got stacks of bricks and paving stones everywhere you look. It can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, and we’re always moving things around with the forklift to make room for new deliveries. We spend most of our time outdoors, so we’re used to whatever the weather is doing, whether it's too hot or raining. People come by to pick out colors and patterns for their driveways or walkways. We don’t have a showroom with fancy lights or air conditioning. You just look at the actual piles of bricks in the yard to see what they look like in the sun. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We’ve got a small shed where we keep the books and take the payments. It’s nothing special, just a place to sit for a minute and get out of the sun. The road outside can be a bit rough, but trucks come and go all day without too much trouble. We’re a small crew, mostly just a few guys who know how to handle the heavy stuff without complaining. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just see our sign or hear about us from their neighbors who bought bricks here before. It’s hard work, lifting and stacking all day, but it’s a good feeling to see a truck leave full of materials for a project.
