Til Caterpillar

We are located at 35 Chakraberia Lane, inside the Akash Apartments in Kolkata. It's a typical old Kolkata building, so finding parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you're coming by car. We go by the name Til Caterpillar. Most of what we do involves machinery and heavy equipment parts. Being in the 700020 area means we are right in the thick of things. The office isn't very modern; it has that old-school feel with tall ceilings and heavy desks. There's usually a lot of noise coming from the street outside, but you get used to it after a week. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The guys in the office know the local area like the back of their hands. We don't have any flashy brochures or a big sales pitch. People usually come to us because they need something specific for their tractors or earthmovers. It’s a lot of grease and metal talk most of the time. Sometimes the rains in Kolkata flood the lane a bit, but we still manage to keep the doors open. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to make sure we have the parts people are looking for. It’s a practical business run by people who actually understand how the machines work. We keep things simple and don't make a fuss about much.
