Aahaar

Aahaar is our little food spot located at Nk 81, Nishi Kanan. We are right near the Loknath Mandir in Teghoria, so it is a very easy place to find. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen area. There is always the smell of something cooking or spices being ground. We do a lot of catering for local events and small gatherings around the neighborhood. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but we enjoy seeing people eat. We don't follow any corporate rules here. We just cook the way we know how. The kitchen is where we spend almost all our time, making sure the rice is right and the curries have enough flavor. Being near the Mandir means there are always people walking by. Sometimes they stop in just to see what we are making for the day. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It is just a local business trying to provide good meals to the folks around Teghoria. We keep our space clean and we work long hours to get everything ready on time. It is a simple life but a busy one. We’ve been at this Nishi Kanan address for a while and have become part of the daily rhythm of this street. It’s just us, the stove, and the food we make every day for whoever is hungry.
