Aaswadan

We are tucked away in Jadavgarh Haltu, right across from that old Britania Godown. It’s a bit of a quiet corner compared to the rest of the city. We’ve been running Aaswadan with just a handful of staff who mostly live nearby. The place isn't very big, so things can get a bit tight when the lunch crowd arrives. We spend most of our mornings getting the stove going and prepping whatever is fresh from the market. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring before the doors even open. In this part of 700078, everyone knows everyone, so we spend a lot of time just chatting with neighbors who drop in for a quick bite. We don't have a fancy menu printed on thick paper. It’s just simple food that we know how to make well. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more worried about the kitchen. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It’s a humble spot, honestly. We aren't trying to win any awards or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food tastes right and the plates are clean. If you're passing by the godown, you'll probably smell what we're cooking. It's just a local business trying to do things the old-fashioned way without any fuss.
