The Himalayan Cafe Multi Cuisine Restaurant

Our little restaurant is located at Shop No 5 in Koyla Bihar Basundhara, right on the ground floor. It’s on the busy VIP Road in Kolkata, and if you’re looking for us, we are quite close to the Haldiram outlet. The Himalayan Cafe Multi Cuisine Restaurant is a bit of a long name for such a small place, but we like it. We cook a lot of different things here because the people in Kolkata have different tastes. The kitchen is small, so it gets pretty hot when we have all the burners going at once. We don't have fancy decorations or soft lighting. Most of our chairs are just simple plastic ones, and the tables are pushed close together to fit more people in. You can hear the noise from VIP Road all the time, but it just adds to the energy of the shop. We do a lot of the work ourselves, from buying the vegetables in the morning to mopping the floor at night. It’s a family-style operation where nobody wears a uniform. We just want to make sure people get a hot meal without having to spend too much or wait too long. It’s not a fine-dining experience, just a regular cafe where the food tastes like someone actually cooked it in the back. That’s about all there is to know about us. We’re just a small ground-floor shop near Haldiram.
