Suvam Saloon

It is just me and a couple of others here at Suvam Saloon. We have been sitting at 13 Ground Floor on R N Tagore Road for a while now. Most people know the spot because it is right in Bediapara, very close to the Yuva Sangha Club. If you are walking around Kolkata 700077, you probably see us. The shop isn't fancy or anything. We mostly just do haircuts and shaves for the folks who live around here. Sometimes it gets busy on weekends, so people wait outside on the street. We keep the doors open usually. The location is easy to find since the club is such a landmark in this part of town. We just open up in the morning and stay until late evening. It is a simple place where neighbors come to talk while they get their hair sorted out. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights. Just the basic chairs and mirrors we've had. People come in from the main road or from the side lanes near the ground floor entrance. It works for us and the people who live nearby. We don't do anything too complicated, just the usual stuff you expect from a local place in Bediapara. It is what it is. We try to keep things quiet but friendly enough for everyone who stops by. That is pretty much the whole story of our little shop on R N Tagore Road.
