Ajanta Art Saloon

Ajanta Art Saloon is tucked away at 138 R K M Road, right in the heart of Alambazar. We've been here in this part of Kolkata for a while now, just doing what we do every day. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they need a quick trim or a shave. It's nothing fancy, just a couple of chairs and some mirrors where we spend most of our hours. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic and people going about their business, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of scissors clicking. Most of the folks who come in are regulars we’ve known for years. We know how they like their hair cut before they even sit down. Sometimes we talk about the local news or just keep it quiet if someone’s tired after work. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a local spot where you can get your hair sorted without any fuss. Usually, there's a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings because everyone wants to look decent for the start of the week. We just keep working through the day until it's time to pull the shutters down and go home to our families. It’s just how things are run here in Alambazar.
