Sushma Caterer

Sushma Caterer is located at 15/B, Sebak Baidya St. We are right across from Hotel Swagath, which makes us easy to spot if you’re driving through the neighborhood. Our setup is quite straightforward. We use our space mainly for the actual cooking and storing our serving trays. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. I’ve lived around here for a long time, and I know the street like the back of my hand. The work involves a lot of logistics. We have to coordinate the cooks, the helpers, and the transport. It’s a lot of physical labor. Sometimes we are working through the night to get things ready for a lunch event the next day. We don't have a marketing department. If the food is good, people tell their friends, and that’s how we get our next job. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the process. The traffic on Sebak Baidya St can be tough during peak hours, so we have to plan our departures carefully. We’ve seen many businesses come and go, but we’ve stayed here because we focus on the basics. Our staff is like a small family. We eat together after the work is done. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a steady one. We take pride in just getting the job done without any unnecessary fuss or fancy talk.
