Sumit Caterer

We've been operating Sumit Caterer from 31, Komedan Bagan Ln right here in the Park Street area for a good while now. It is a busy little spot in 700016. Most people around the lane know where we are. We handle the cooking and the food prep right in our kitchen space. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we get the work done. The street gets quite crowded during the day so we have to manage our deliveries carefully. We started this because we liked being around food and seeing people eat. It’s hard work, especially when there are big orders to pack and move out through the narrow lane. My family helps out sometimes when things get really hectic. We don’t have a big marketing team. We just focus on the pots and pans. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult but we keep going. The address is easy to find if you are familiar with the Park Street side of things. Our focus is mostly on keeping our heads down and cooking. There’s always something bubbling on the stove. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend money on big signs. People usually find us by word of mouth or just by walking past the lane. That’s how it has always been for us here. We just try to keep the kitchen clean and the food moving out on time for whoever needs it.
