Standard Caterer

Over at Ba 11 in Deshbandhunagar, Baguihati, you’ll find us busy at Standard Caterer most days of the week. This part of Baguihati is always crowded, so there’s always something going on around the shop. We handle a lot of local events, mostly just providing the food and making sure the plates are ready for the guests. The kitchen isn't huge, but we make it work by staying organized with our supplies and ingredients. Our team is basically just local guys who know how to cook the traditional dishes everyone likes. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after ourselves because a messy kitchen just doesn't work for us. When a big order comes in, the whole place smells like fried spices and onions for hours. We don’t really do much advertising; mostly people just walk in or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on the stove and the guest list. Sometimes we have to carry heavy containers up narrow stairs, which is never fun, but it’s part of the job. Being located in Deshbandhunagar means we are right in the middle of everything, which helps when we need to run out for extra supplies at the last minute. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing for the day, making sure the food is ready when the party starts.
