Sonai Ladies Beauty Parlour

Sonai Ladies Beauty Parlour is based in the Bharati Appartment building at Bawari Tala in Kolkata. We are on the ground level so it is easy for ladies to find us without having to climb many stairs. The shop is a cozy little place where we handle everything from basic haircuts to more detailed beauty work. We have a couple of stations set up with mirrors and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The area around Bawari Tala is usually busy, so there is always some noise from outside coming through the door. We have our regulars who come in every month for their usual routine. The space inside is filled with the scent of different hair oils and face creams. We keep our appointment book on a small desk near the entrance, though many people just knock on the door to see if we are free. It’s not a fancy place with modern furniture, but it’s clean and we do our jobs. Sometimes the lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time washing towels and cleaning the floor after each person leaves. It’s a simple way to make a living and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces from the apartment and the neighborhood. We just focus on the work at hand each day.
