Sneha Ladies Beauty Parlour is over in Salt Lake City, specifically at CG 147. This part of Kolkata is a bit different from the rest of the city because the streets are laid out in blocks and it’s generally a bit quieter. We are right in the middle of CG block. The shop is part of a residential building, which is common around here. It’s a peaceful spot to work in most days. We don’t get a lot of random walk-ins from the street; it’s mostly people who live nearby and know we are here. Inside, it’s just a regular setup with the things you’d expect in a ladies' parlour. We have our regulars who come in every month for their usual things. The light in the morning is quite nice through the front window. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the ladies while we work. It’s a simple business. We don’t have any corporate training or anything like that, just years of doing the work ourselves. Salt Lake is a nice place to have a shop like this. You get to know the families and the children as they grow up. We keep the place tidy and make sure everything is ready when we open the door in the morning. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good one here in CG block.
