Sikkim Time Corp Ltd

We are tucked away on the first floor at 77 N S Road, right near the Calcutta GPO. It’s an old building, like most things in this part of town. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. We’ve been operating out of this room for quite some time now. Sikkim Time Corp is basically just a few of us handling the paperwork and the stock. There are boxes stacked in the corners because we get deliveries often. It’s not a fancy retail store where everything is behind velvet. It’s more of a workspace. The windows look out toward the street, and it gets pretty noisy with the traffic outside. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through the inventory. Dealing with clocks and watches in the humidity of Calcutta keeps us busy. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most people come here for specific orders or to talk business about bulk stuff. We don't have a big neon sign out front. You just have to find the right door on the first floor. It’s a practical place. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure things are packed properly before they go back out the door. Our building has that distinct smell of old paper and dust. We don't have a lot of space for visitors to sit around, so it's usually just a quick hello and then we get to business. It’s a steady routine.
