A. C. Mohamed has been at P-16 Bentinck Street for quite a while now. If you walk down this part of the city, you'll find our spot easily enough. It’s a busy street, always noise and people moving about, but we like it that way. We spend most of our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. It isn't a fancy setup, just a practical place where we get the work done. Some people have been coming to us for years, and we've gotten to know the neighborhood well. The building itself is old, like much of this area, and it has that specific smell of dust and paper and history. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the shop looks to outsiders because there is always something to fix or a ledger to update. It is mostly just a few of us here keeping things moving. We open up in the morning, handle the stuff that needs handling, and close up when the sun goes down. There isn’t much to tell beyond that. We are just a local business trying to do our part in this corner of the world. If you happen to be passing by Bentinck Street, you might see us sitting inside or talking to a regular on the sidewalk. That is just how life goes here. We don't change much, and the street stays the same, even as things around us get newer. We aren't trying to be famous, just consistent.
