Our office is on the first floor at P-23/24, Radha Bazar Street. If you’ve ever been to Radha Bazar, you know it’s one of the most crowded streets you can find. There are people everywhere and the noise from the market downstairs never really stops. We spend our days surrounded by piles of paperwork and samples from different shipments. Because we are on the first floor, we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which keeps us in shape I suppose. The space is filled with filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better years. We do a lot of importing and exporting, so we are always on the phone with the port or checking on where a container is. It can be quite stressful when things get stuck in customs, but we just take it one day at a time. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s a working office where people are usually busy typing or on a call. Sometimes we have a quick lunch at our desks because there is too much to do. The street outside is always a mess of wires and signs, and that’s just the charm of the area. We’ve been operating from this street for a while and we’ve gotten used to the chaotic pace of the market. It can be hard work but it's what we do here.
