Pravat Timbers Wooden Gift Company

Pravat Timbers is our small operation on Canal Circular Road, specifically at 11/3H. We spend most of our time working with wood. It's a dusty job, but we enjoy it. We make different kinds of wooden gifts and items here. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the saws running or smell the fresh cut timber. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where we put things together by hand. We’ve been at this location on Canal Circular Road for quite a while now. The space is filled with planks, shavings, and the tools we use every day. We don't really have a fancy sales floor. People usually just come in and see what we are working on. Sometimes we're making boxes, other times it’s something more decorative. It really depends on what people are asking for that week. We don't use any high-tech machinery; it’s mostly just basic tools and a lot of patience. The wood we use comes in and we sort through it to find the right pieces for the gifts. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don’t try to overcomplicate things. We just make stuff out of wood and sell it to anyone who needs a nice gift or something sturdy for their home. It's a lot of manual labor, but seeing the finished product makes it worthwhile. We hope the items last a long time.
