If you are looking for Kolkata Gift Shop, we are right on the ground floor at 12/4 Jamir Lane. It is a busy little street and we have been here for a good amount of time now. The shop is packed with all kinds of things like cards, small toys, and stuff you might give someone for a birthday or a wedding. We don't have everything perfectly organized, so you might have to look around a bit to find exactly what you want. Jamir Lane is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we spend a lot of time just chatting with people who pop in. Sometimes someone comes in looking for a last-minute present and we help them pick out something that fits. We have shelves that are a bit crowded and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it feels like a real local shop. We try to keep a variety of things in stock so there is always something new to look at. It is just a simple business run by people who live nearby. We don't do any big advertising or anything fancy like that. Most people find us just by walking past on their way home. We are just here on the ground floor, keeping the doors open and waiting to see who comes in next. It’s a quiet life but we enjoy being part of the Jamir Lane community and seeing the regulars.
