If you come down to the Bikaner Building on Lal Bazar Street, you’ll find us on the 3rd floor. We are tucked away in the South Block. Carryon Luggage & Baggage Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle all the logistics for the bags and trunks we deal with. The building itself is quite large and it can be a little confusing for people visiting the first time. You have to find the right set of stairs or use the lift if it’s working right that day. Once you get to the South Block, things are a bit quieter. We have rows of samples sitting around, mostly different types of suitcases and travel gear. It's a bit cramped because luggage takes up a lot of room, as you can imagine. We spend our days tracking shipments and making sure the inventory is where it should be. Lal Bazar is a hectic area, right in the thick of it, so there is always noise coming up from the street. It’s a no-nonsense kind of office. We don’t have fancy rugs or art on the walls. We just have our desks, our phones, and a lot of bags. Most of the staff has been here long enough to remember when things were done mostly on paper. Now it’s more screens, but the work feels the same. We just keep the business moving along and get things shipped.
