Shri Metal Ind

We are located on the 3rd floor of 14 Pollock Street, right in the busy Calcutta GPO area. If you know this part of Calcutta, you know the streets are always packed with people and traffic. At Shri Metal Ind, we have been in this old building for a long time. Getting to our office is a bit of a workout because the stairs are narrow and we are all the way on the third floor. The building has very high ceilings and thick walls that remind you of how things used to be built. You can always hear the horns and the shouting from the street below coming through the windows. Inside, the space is filled with desks and racks where we keep all our metal samples. It is a bit crowded because we have a lot of stuff tucked into every corner of the room. The lighting isn't great, so we have to use desk lamps even during the day. We don't have a formal reception area or anything like that. You just walk through the door and you are in the middle of our workspace. We usually get our tea from the same vendor on the street corner that we have used for years. It is a very traditional way of doing business in a very old part of the city. There isn't anything fancy or corporate about our setup. We just handle our work and keep things simple.
