Our office is tucked away at 12A Bhairab Mukherjee Lane in Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets around here have a lot of character. We are part of the Aditya Birla Management Corporation Ltd. Living and working in West Bengal, especially in the 700004 area, means you’re always around history and a lot of noise. The building is just a regular Kolkata structure, nothing like those glass towers you see in the newer parts of town. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, files, and people trying to stay cool under the ceiling fans. We handle a lot of the backend management work that keeps the bigger company running. It involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls to different departments across the country. The pace can get a bit frantic sometimes, but we always find time for a quick break to grab some tea from the stall around the corner. We don't really do the whole "corporate image" thing here. It’s more about the people you work with every day. We’ve been in this lane for quite some time, so the neighbors all know us. It’s a very local feel for such a big name. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to make sure everything is filed correctly before we head home for the day. Sometimes the rain floods the lane a bit, but we just roll up our trousers and keep going like everyone else does.
