Our office is up on the second floor at 167/4 Lenin Sarani. It’s a busy building in a busy part of town. If you’ve ever walked down Lenin Sarani, you know how loud it gets with all the cars and people. Amiya Steel has been operating from this spot for a good bit of time. The stairs up to the second floor are a little narrow, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just us and our files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at inventory lists. Working with steel is what we do, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of this area. It’s not the biggest office, but it fits us well enough. We have a few desks and a lot of paper. Sometimes the fans are the only thing you hear when the street noise dies down for a second. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. People come here to discuss business, sign some papers, and sort out logistics. It's a practical setup. We try to keep things moving. Lenin Sarani is always moving, so we have to stay on our toes too. It’s a decent place to work. We know the tea stall downstairs pretty well by now. We just handle the steel trade as best as we can from this floor. No one here is looking for fame, we just want to make sure the numbers add up and the steel gets delivered.
