You can find us at 83/44 Dum Dum Road right near Motijhil in Kolkata. This is a very busy area of the city and the noise from the traffic never really stops. We have our office and a bit of storage space here for the steel business. It is a convenient spot because of the transport links nearby. We see a lot of people every day just walking by the front door. The building is older and has its own quirks like leaky pipes when it rains hard during the monsoon. We just put a bucket under the drips and keep on working. Our desks are covered in piles of papers and old calendars that we still use for notes. We don't really have a set routine other than showing up early and staying until the work is finished for the night. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be sorted out for the next morning. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon. We don't try to sound corporate because that isn't our style. We are just a group of people trying to sell steel in a busy city. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until the lights come back on. It is a very practical way to live and work. We have been part of the Dum Dum landscape for years.
