We run things out of 33-A on Satish Mukherjee Road. It’s mostly just making sure stuff gets from one place to another without too much trouble. Shipping can be a bit of a headache with all the moving parts, so we spend most of our day on the phone or checking schedules. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. The office is a bit lived-in, with maps and papers everywhere. We don’t have a fancy reception area because we’re usually too focused on the logistics side of things. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in the middle of a conversation about some cargo or a truck delay. That’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and most of the locals know where we are. We don't use any high-tech tracking that breaks every five minutes; we prefer just calling people up and making sure things are actually moving. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Sometimes the tea guy stops by and we take a break, then it’s back to the paperwork. We just try to get the job done right so nobody’s waiting on their goods longer than they have to. The street outside can get a bit loud with the traffic, but we don't mind it much. We’ve grown used to the hum of the city while we work and it keeps us moving.
