Shiva Food Caterers

Our place is at 60/4B, Lenin Sarani. If you know the area, you know how loud and busy it gets outside. Inside, it’s all about the food. We’ve been running Shiva Food Caterers from this location for a long time. It’s not a showroom. It’s a working kitchen with big burners and heavy pans. We spend a lot of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure the produce is fresh. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on Lenin Sarani, which can be a real pain. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for years. We don’t really do fancy advertising. Most people find out about us because they ate our food at a friend's house or a community hall. There’s always something bubbling on the stove. We do get a bit stressed when there are multiple orders on the same day, but we’ve learned how to handle the pressure. The walls in the back are a bit stained from the steam, but that’s what happens when you cook all day every day. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just cook the food, pack it up, and get it to the venue. It’s a straightforward business. We like the honesty of the work even if it means long hours and late nights cleaning up. We just want to make sure the containers are full and the customers are fed.
