If you’re ever near the Baranagar Police Station, you’ll see us just across the street at 265/ A, B T Road. Shine Gents Beauty Parlour is a simple place for men to get a haircut or a shave. We’ve been here in this part of Kolkata for quite some time now. Being on B T Road means there’s always people walking by, and the 700036 area is always active. It’s not one of those modern salons with bright lights and loud music. We keep it old school with the chairs and the mirrors. Most of our regulars are guys who live around here or work nearby. They come in, sit down, get their hair trimmed, and head out. We don't do anything too complicated. Shaving, hair cutting, maybe a head massage if someone's had a long day. The police station being right there makes it easy for people to find us. The shop is small, but it’s enough for what we do. We open up early and usually have a few people waiting before the morning rush starts. It’s a straightforward business. No big promises, just a clean cut and a quick chat about the news or the weather. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, and the street outside is never quiet, but that’s just life on B T Road. We like being part of the community here and knowing the faces of the people who walk past our door every morning.
