Samir Gift Shop

I'm at Samir Gift Shop, which is Shop No 12 in Nya Patti. We are located near the Chott Mandir and the BSFI Camp in Sector V. It’s a busy part of Kolkata with all the offices nearby. We mostly sell small gifts and things people might need quickly. The shop isn't very big, but we try to keep it stocked with different items. People from the offices often stop by during their breaks or after work. We’ve been here in Nya Patti for a bit now. It’s a good spot because there are always people walking around. The temple nearby brings in some folks too. We don't do anything too fancy. It’s just a regular gift shop. I spend most of my day behind the counter. Sometimes it’s quiet, and then suddenly five people walk in at once. That's just how retail goes. We have a lot of little things like cards and toys and small decorative items. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a shipment in. We have to move boxes around to make space. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We know the other shopkeepers around Sector V well. Most days I’m just tidying up the shelves or chatting with a neighbor. If you're near the BSFI Camp or visiting the Chott Mandir, you can easily find us at Shop 12. It’s just a humble little place where we try to have something for everyone who walks through the door in Nya Patti. No big fuss, just a local shop.
