Saila Travels

We are located over at P 2, New Cit Rd, right near Chittaranjan Avenue. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of people walking by all the time. Saila Travels has been here for a bit, helping people figure out their trips and bus tickets. Kolkata is a crowded city, and our office reflects that—there’s always papers on the desks and people coming in to ask about train timings or flight costs. We don't really have a big website or anything, we just talk to people who walk in. Some days it’s quiet and we just drink tea and wait for the phone to ring. Other days, it’s a total mess with everyone wanting to book for the holidays at once. We try to find the best routes, but sometimes the seats are just full. It’s a small space, but we make it work. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound, but nobody minds much. We’ve gotten to know the regular travelers who live around Chittaranjan Avenue. They stop by just to say hello sometimes. Planning a trip shouldn't be too hard, so we just keep it straightforward. We write things down in our registers and keep track of everything manually mostly. It’s how we’ve always done it here. It’s a bit old-fashioned maybe, but it works for us and the people who come to see us.
