Sahu Caterer

Sahu Caterer operates out of 2/103, Sree Colony, which is right near the Kali Bari in Regent Estate. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the rest of the city, which we appreciate. Our kitchen is part of the community here, and we often have locals peaking in to see what we are preparing for the day. Being near the temple means we are used to the sounds of bells and the general peacefulness of the area. Our setup is pretty basic. We have some large stoves, plenty of counter space for chopping, and a whole lot of big pots. Most of our days are spent getting ready for local functions in Sree Colony. We don't have a professional secretary; the phone usually rings right in the kitchen, and whoever has a free hand picks it up. It can get a bit disorganized when we have several orders at the same time, but we’ve never failed to get the food out. The walls are a bit stained from years of cooking, and the fans are always humming to keep us cool. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation; we just like being the local choice for weddings and small parties. We know most of the people who call us by their first names. It’s just us, working hard near the Kali Bari, keeping things simple and honest.
