Saad Caterer

We are located at 7, Chandni Chawk Street, which is one of those places that never really sleeps. Running Saad Caterer in central Kolkata is an experience every single day. The street outside is packed with shops and people looking for deals, so our little space is always surrounded by a lot of energy. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but that is part of the charm. Inside, we are mostly focused on getting the food right. We don't have a big fancy storefront with lights; it is mostly a place where work gets done. You will see us carrying heavy bags of onions or crates of soda through the narrow entrance. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually busy with something. The smell of charcoal and spices is always in the air around our door. We don't spend money on advertising because the neighborhood knows where we are. If someone needs a large order for an office or a family gathering, they just stop by. Sometimes it gets chaotic when multiple orders come in at once, and we are all shouting over each other to make sure nothing gets missed. It is a noisy, busy, and tiring job, but we wouldn't know what else to do with our time. Chandni Chawk is our home, and we just keep the pots boiling.
