Ruchi Raj Caterers is situated at 2No, Khalishakota Pally, right near the Khalishakola Pally Girls High School in Italgacha. Being so close to the school means we hear the bell ring all through the day and the kids shouting during their breaks. It is a lively spot to work in. Our setup is pretty simple and functional. In the back, we have the cooking area and the space where we store all the big pots and serving dishes. It is a local business, so things are not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. The area around Italgacha has its own feel, and we have become a part of the daily life here. We start our work early when most people are still having their morning tea. There is always something to be washed or something to be chopped. We do not spend money on fancy decorations for the shop because we are mostly focused on the catering jobs we have to finish. People around here just drop by if they need something, and we talk to them plainly. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes we are exhausted by the end of the week, but that is how it goes when you are running a catering business in a busy neighborhood like this. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure every order is handled as it should be.
