Risha Beauty Parlour

Risha Beauty Parlour is situated in Prafulla Kanan, right in the Krishna Pur area near the VIP Road. We are very close to the Prafulla Kanan Post Office, so a lot of people see us when they are out doing their mail or errands. The shop is on a street that gets a lot of foot traffic. We do all the usual things like hair cutting, threading, and skin care for the ladies here in Kolkata. The space is simple with a few chairs and some shelves for our shampoos and lotions. We have been here for a while and most of our customers are neighbors who live just a few blocks away. It gets quite humid here, so we try to keep the fans going to stay comfortable. You can usually hear the noise from the main road, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of people talking. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights. Just a regular door and our equipment inside. We spend our mornings setting everything up and cleaning the mirrors. By the afternoon, we usually have a few people waiting for their turn. It's a humble place where we just do our work and go home. We like being part of the community here near the post office. It’s a busy life but we are used to the pace of this neighborhood.
