Regent Trading Company

Working out of the 10th floor of the Shubham Building can be a bit of a chore when the lift is acting up, but we’ve been here at Rowdaon Street for a while now. Suite 1007 is where most of the trading gets handled. It’s a decent sized space, but it’s mostly filled with stacks of paperwork and samples from different suppliers. Downstairs, Rowdaon Street is always buzzing with people and cars, so being up on the 10th floor gives us a bit of a break from all that noise. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or responding to messages about various shipments. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits, like who takes the longest lunch or who forgets to turn off their monitor at night. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything. Just a small plate on the door. Trading is just about getting things from one place to another and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or there’s a mix-up with the billing, and we just have to sit down and sort it out. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
