Rangamati Saloon

Rangamati Saloon is found at Ef-9 on the ground floor of a building on Jyangra Main Road. This is in the Baguihati area of Kolkata, which is a very crowded and active part of the city. We are situated near Saraswati School, so we hear the school bells and the kids playing during the day. Kolkata is a city of narrow lanes and busy streets, and Jyangra Main Road is no different. Our shop is easy to step into since it’s on the ground floor. We have the basic setup that you would find in any local saloon. There are fans to keep the air moving because Kolkata can be very humid. We spend our days cutting hair and giving shaves to the local residents of Baguihati. People from all walks of life come in, from office workers to students. We have a few old chairs that are still very comfortable. Sometimes we have the radio on playing some music or the news. We aren't trying to be a high-end spa or anything like that.
