Ranbir Kaur Hot Dabbawalas

We are Ranbir Kaur Hot Dabbawalas and you can find us at Sri Ram Nagar. Our specific spot is in the Martin Burn area, Block-2 6S. It is right opposite the Haliram on VIP Road, which is a very busy stretch near the Kolkata Airport. Being near the airport means there is always a lot of noise from the planes and the traffic is constant. We spend our days packing dabbas for people who need a meal while they are at work. The dabbas are stacked up high every morning. It is a lot of logistics, making sure the right box goes to the right person. We aren't a big company with fancy uniforms. We are just a group of people who know how to pack a lunch. The space we have in Block-2 is used for all the sorting and cleaning. It gets a bit chaotic around noon when everything has to leave. My name is Ranbir and I stay on top of things as much as I can. We don't use any fancy apps to track stuff, just our notebooks and memory. The building is a standard block and we have been here for a while now. It's a practical business and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is.
