Puskins Kitchen

Our kitchen is located in the 700055 area of Kolkata. We started this because we liked cooking and wanted to provide food to the people around here. It isn't a big restaurant with a seating area and waiters. It's more of a place where the cooking actually happens. We spend most of our time dealing with ingredients and getting orders ready. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have several things going at once on the stove. Kolkata is a city that loves its food, so we try to keep up with what people want. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the regular pots and pans you'd find in a home kitchen. Sometimes the orders take a bit longer if we're busy, but we try not to rush things too much. It's a small operation, just a few of us working together. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on people in the neighborhood knowing where we are. It’s a bit messy sometimes, like any real kitchen is. We just focus on making the food taste like it should. It is hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. The floor gets slippery and the air is always thick with spices. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We just make the food and send it out. That is all there is to it.
