Prince Caterer

Prince Caterer is located over at 294A Raja Rammohan Roy Road in the Barisha area. It’s a place we’ve called home for a long time. We mostly do catering for local events, weddings, and small house parties. We have a small team of cooks who have been with us for a while. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just focus on getting the food right. Every day is a bit different depending on what people have ordered. Sometimes it’s a lot of vegetarian dishes, and other times it’s more heavy on the meat. We just do what's asked of us. The kitchen is always busy, especially on weekends. We don't have a big fancy sign or a lot of decorations. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone eats our food at a party and then asks for our number. That’s how it’s always been for us. We try to keep things simple and practical. We don't make big promises, we just show up with the food. It’s a lot of long hours, standing over stoves and packing boxes, but it’s what we know how to do. Raja Rammohan Roy Road can get a bit jammed with cars, but we manage. We spend a lot of time cleaning the big pots after the food is delivered. It's a messy job but someone has to do it. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just knives and spoons. Our uniforms are just regular clothes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office at 294A.
