Prime Marble & Granite

Prime Marble & Granite is situated right off the Basanti Highway on Bantala Road. We are tucked away just behind the P C Chandra Garden area. It is a pretty good spot because we have enough room for all the heavy slabs we keep in stock. If you walk through our yard, you will see rows and rows of marble and granite sitting there. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things with the crane, so it is never really a quiet day. We spend most of our time showing people the different patterns and colors in the stone. No two pieces are ever exactly the same, so it takes a bit of looking around. The dust from cutting the stone is everywhere, but that is just how it goes in this business. We don't have a big, fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly just stay out in the yard or in the small shed where we keep the paperwork. It is a straightforward business, really. We get the stone in, and we help people pick out what they want for their houses. The highway nearby stays busy, but back here it is mostly just the sound of the machines and the guys working. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure the stone is ready when someone needs it. It's heavy work but we've been doing it for quite a while now.
