Ganpati Marbles

Ganpati Marbles is located at No. 221 on N.S.C. Bose Road in the Bansdroni area. If you’ve ever driven down Bose Road, you know it can be a real headache with the traffic, but we’ve been here for quite some time now. We have all sorts of stone and marble slabs sitting around the place. It’s heavy work, moving those pieces around, and there is always a bit of white marble dust on the floor and our clothes. People usually come in when they are building a new house or maybe just fixing up a kitchen. They walk around and touch the different stones to see what they like. We don't try to push anyone into buying anything specific. We just let them look and answer questions when they have them. The shop is right on the main road, so it’s easy to spot, but parking can be a bit of a gamble sometimes. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a straightforward business. We get the marble in, we show it to people, and we get it sent out to where it needs to go. There are no big fancy showrooms here, just the real product and a few of us who know a thing or two about stone. We just open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down.
