Our place is at 11 Tarak Dutta Road in Ballygunge. We are on the first floor in Room Number 7. It’s a small, cozy office in a part of Kolkata that has a lot of character. Tarak Dutta Road isn't the biggest street, so it feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a cold business district. We’ve been in this room for a while now, and it’s filled with all the usual things you’d expect in a shipping office—maps, schedules, and lots of folders. Being in Room 7 on the first floor means people are always dropping by to ask questions or drop off documents. We don’t have a big corporate setup with a lot of departments. It’s just a handful of us sitting together and making sure the shipping services are running the way they should. We talk to people from all over, but we still feel like a local shop. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we just pull up another chair and make it work. We are just Pole to Pole, and we work out of this little spot in Ballygunge. We usually have the windows open when the weather is nice, and you can hear the sounds of the street while we work. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We like being in this part of town because it feels real and grounded, unlike those newer business parks.
