Phoenix Leather Ware

Down at 82-A on Matheswartala Road, things stay pretty active most days. Phoenix Leather Ware is tucked away in this part of town where everyone seems to be doing something with leather. You can see the scrap pieces near the bins and the delivery bikes weaving through the traffic outside. We have been in this spot for a while. Our building isn't anything special to look at, but it keeps us dry and gives us enough space to get the orders ready. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around for a bit, but that is just how it goes here. We talk about the weather or what happened in the neighborhood while we wait for things to start again. When the lights come back on, we get right back to it. There is always a lot of cutting and stitching to do. The guys in the back are usually listening to the radio while they work. It makes the day go by a bit faster. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the week and make sure everything is packed up correctly. If you walk down Matheswartala Road, you can’t miss the sound of the loading bay. It’s a bit noisy, sure, but it means we are busy. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come without any fuss.
