Penguin Food Court

Our place is on M M Feeder Road, right near the Belgharia post office. It’s a busy little spot in Kolkata with people always rushing around. We call it a food court because we have a variety of different things you can eat, but it’s not like those giant ones you see in the big malls downtown. It’s more of a local hangout for the people who live and work right here. We get a lot of people coming in after they finish their business at the post office or while they’re waiting for a bus to arrive. We try to keep the prices fair because we know people work hard for their money these days. The seating is basic, but it does the job for a quick meal. We spend a lot of time in the morning getting everything prepped and ready for the day. It gets pretty hot near the stoves, especially in the middle of summer, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to win any fancy awards here. We just want to make sure the food tastes okay and people leave with a full stomach. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it's been a particularly busy day, but we always have something else ready to go. It’s just a plain, honest food shop run by people who live right here in the Belgharia area. If you’re passing through, come say hi.
