Peak Time

Our place, Peak Time, is tucked away at 5/1 C, C N Lane. Being near Scottish Church School means there is always a lot of energy around, especially when classes let out for the day. Kolkata 700006 is a bit of a maze if you are not familiar with the lanes, but we like it here. The building is older, with those high ceilings you see in this part of town. We spend most of our time inside working through whatever the day brings. It is a small team, so things stay pretty quiet until the phone starts ringing. We do not have any big signs or bright lights outside. Just a door on C N Lane. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but that is just living in Kolkata. We have set up our desks to make the most of the light coming in. There is a tea stall around the corner where we usually grab a quick break when we can. It is not a corporate setup at all. It is more like a bunch of people working together in a space that fits our needs. We keep our supplies in the back room and try to keep things moving. Peak Time is not a huge operation. It is just us doing what we do every day. You might miss the entrance if you are walking too fast. We have been here long enough that the neighbors know us. It is just home.
